一，明喻（simile）是以两种具有相同特征的事物和现象进行对比，表明本体和喻体之间的相似关系，两者都在对比中出现。常用比喻词like, as, as if, as though等，例如：

还有转喻又称为借代，转喻和提喻很像，明喻和暗喻就比较简单转喻是两者之间存在关联，主要借助于密切的关系与联想而提喻是用大代替小，小代替大比如：He is fond of the bottle.他喜欢喝酒.（用bottle装酒的瓶子，表示wine,bottle和wine之间存在着密切的关系，这是转喻）Outside,(there is) a sea of faces.外面街上，是人的海洋.（以人体的局部代全体，即以faces 表示people，以小代替大，局部代替整体，这是提喻）如果还不懂，可以在百度百科里面查下，都有讲到两者的区别。
